The rendering worker runs on our own GPU machine, so generation needs it to be online.
Problem
Technical educators record hours of class but can't cut it into short vertical videos — and generic tools mangle Hinglish speech and crop away the code.
Approach
Two pipelines feed one timeline: long recordings become ranked 30–60 s highlights with code-following 9:16 framing and word-synced Hinglish captions; topics become short explainers with a script, code cards and voiceover.
Engineering decisions
- One canonical timeline schema (Zod → JSON Schema) produced by both AI pipelines, edited in the editor and rendered by a single compiler.
- Open-source models on our own GPU machine, so it runs at ₹0 on free tiers.
- Every claim in docs/TEST_STATUS.md is marked synthetic, real class recording, or production.
